Sono sempre molto restia a parlarne perché sono di gusti difficili a riguardo, ma lei la seguo da molto tempo e sono felice di averla conosciuta e incontrata lungo  mia strada …  Lei è la super mamma di Fiammetta,  4 anni, moglie di Lorenzo, di professione commercialista ed è famosa grazie al suo blog che è tra i più letti della nazione. Ma  non ditele che fa parte delle 100 bloggers più seguite in Italia perché vi risponderà che non sempre queste classifiche sono esatte … Ecco per noi Simona Mazzei di www.fiammisday.com

Ciao Simona, benvenuta! Ci racconti com’è iniziata la tua esperienza da mamma fashion blogger?

Grazie Nicole e ciao a tutti! Il mio è stato un inizio particolare, perché prima di iniziare a scrivere il mio blog ho cominciato a postare delle foto di outfit di mia figlia Fiammetta su Instagram (@fiammisday) e vedevo che giorno dopo giorno venivo sempre più seguita, le persone erano interessate a me e quello che avevo da dire , insomma per me era un gioco, ma con il tempo ho capito che la mia passione più grande che è quella della moda appunto, poteva essere trasmessa ad altri e così ho aperto il sito.

Infatti tu sei una commercialista, come si fa avere una mente matematica, ma nello stesso tempo diventare una senior del fashion?

Guarda, la passione per la moda nasce con me ed è sempre stata nel mio DNA, forse perché vengo da una famiglia che aveva un calzaturificio e quindi è un’aria che ho sempre respirato. Poi nella vita ho studiato e fatto altro, ma grazie al mio blog ho potuto entrare anche in questo ambiente e sviluppare conoscenze e capacità.

Come si fa ad essere mamma, moglie, avere un lavoro e un blog?

Eh, non è facile, esco alla mattina alle otto e rientro alle 20.00 ogni giorno … con la bimba mi aiutano molto le nonne e poi sono super organizzata, ogni minuto della mia giornata deve esserlo,  altrimenti non sarei in grado di fare nulla e a dirti tutta la verità dormo molto poco, sto in piedi anche fino a tarda notte per lavorare al mio blog (come la capisco!!!).

Hai detto che sei partita con Instagram, cosa ne pensi dei social?

Io personalmente adoro Instagram per la facilità e immediatezza che comunica,  ma anche Facebook e Twitter e gli altri sono importantissimi, solo che ho capito, con la mia esperienza, che poi non sono loro a supportare un blog. (sono pienamente d’accordo con lei).

Quali sono i tuoi negozi di riferimento?

Sai, come dicevamo prima ho talmente tante cose da fare durante la giornata che non ho molto tempo per lo shopping reale;  io sono una che compre molto online e posso andare a comprare da Zara così come in e-commerce più fashion, dipende.

Ci sveli cosa non deve mancare nel tuo armadio?

Sì certo, tre cose semplici non devono mancare mai: un blazer, camicia bianca e un jeans.

Mentre Fiammetta decide già lei come vestirsi?

Nonostante alla sua età molte bambine decidano già da sole,  la mia invece si fa ancora gestire bene, sarà che è un po’ maschiaccio, ma per il momento la vesto io e per lei adoro leggins e maxi pull, adoro i colori e scelgo i tessuti facili da lavare e i cotoni più buoni.

All’appello manca tua marito.

Lui è un medico e quindi per professione  e carattere è più classico, adora le camicie e il colore blu, ogni tanto mi da soddisfazione e mi ascolta soprattutto  per la scelta delle scarpe.

Qual e è stato il marchio che per primo ti ha cercato per collaborare con te e il tuo blog?

Come ben sai anche tu, le richieste sono varie, ma il più importante e quello che ancora oggi è per me una collaborazione importante, è il marchio di scarpe Naturino.

Aiuti nella scelta del prodotto marchi importanti come Il Gufo, a chi ti ispiri?

Come tutti noi, seguo la professionalità della Ferragni, però per i bimbi è molto diverso, ciò che mi ispira sono le persone per strada, a scuola dalla mia bimba, al supermercato, insomma osservo molto le persone e da queste porto il mio contributo e collaborazione.

Hai scritto anche un libro: Fiammisday .com il blog delle mamme, vuoi parlarcene?

Il libro sostanzialmente parla del primo anno di vita del blog, all’interno ci potete trovare vari consigli di outfit per donna e bambino e di come si possa giocare nella scelta.

Ci puoi svelare i tuoi progetti futuri.

No! Sono ultra segreti! (scoppiamo a ridere). Ti prometto che te ne parlerò e che ti racconterò a breve tutto,  per ora posso solo svelare che c’è in ballo qualcosa d’ importante a scopo benefico.

Happy Monday everyone… how are you doing? Today I want to tell you a secret! Well, to be honest most of you already know…I get asked quite often which bloggers are the ones I follow. I rarely talk about it because I don’t feel comfortable doing it…but there’s this blogger I always read and I am extremely glad to have known her  and met her along my path…I am talking about the super mom of Fiammetta, 4 years old, married to Lorenzo, she works as a business consultant and she has become famous thanks to her blog which is one of the most followed in the entire nation, but don’t tell her that she’s in the top 100 bloggers in Italy because she’ll tell you that these charts are hardly truthful… J

 Hello Simona, welcome! Can you tell us how your experience as a fashion blogger mom started?

Thank you Nicole, and hi everyone! Actually, I would say that I started in a quite unconventional way, because before starting my blog I had been posting my daughter Fiammetta’s outfits on Instagram (@fiammisday) and I noticed that, day after day, always more and more people were following me, they were interested in what I had to say. For me it was kind of a game, but then I understood that I could have been able to share my biggest passion, which is clearly fashion,  with other people, and that’s when I decided to start my website.

You work as a business consultant, how can one have an accounting mind and at the same time become a fashion master?

This huge passion for the fashion world has always been with me since I was little, it’s in my DNA, maybe also because I was raised in a family that owned a shoe factory. And even if in my life I have studied and pursued a different career, it was quite easy for me to get back to this topic and develop my knowledge and capacities.

How do you manage to be a mom, a wife, have a job and also a blog?

Well, it is certainly not easy. I leave the house at 8 o’clock every morning and get back at 8 o’clock every night…with my daughter I can always rely on the help of her grandmas and for everything else I am extremely organized: each second of my day must be fully organized otherwise I wouldn’t be able to do any of the things I do. And to be honest, I sleep very little, I stay up till late night to work on my blog (and I totally feel her!).

You said that you started from Instagram: what are your thoughts regarding media?

I personally love Instagram because it is a quick and easy way to share, but I think Facebook, Twitter and all the other ones are just as important. But I got to see with my own eyes that it’s not them to increase the views on my blog (I totally agree with her).

 What are the stores you mainly make reference to?

You know, like we said before, I have so many things to do during the day that I don’t really have much spare time to go shopping. I principally buy online, and I can either buy from Zara or from the most fashion online stores.

 can you tell us what are the things you couldn’t do without?

Sure, three simple things that are fundamental: blazer, white shirt and a pair of jeans.

 Does Fiammetta pick out her own clothes already?

At her age a lot of little girls already pick out their own outfits, but Fiammetta is still easy to manage, maybe because she is a tomboy. For the moment I dress her  and I like for her leggings and maxi pullovers, I love colors and I choose easily washable fabrics and the highest quality cotton.

 What about your husband?

Well, he is a doctor and therefore he necessarily has a more classic style. He likes shirts and the color blue. Sometimes he listens to my advices, especially when it comes to shoes.

 What was the first brand that contacted you for a collaboration with your blog?

As you well know from your own experience, I received many requests , but the main brand is the one I still have a collaboration with, which is the shoe brand Naturino.

You also work with the important brand IlGufo for the choice of the products: who inspires you?

I follow, like everyone else, by the professionalism of Chiara Ferragni, but when it comes to kids it is much different. I get mostly inspired by people down the street, in my daughter’s school, at the grocery store. I simply observe a lot the people around me and that’s where I get my ideas from.

You also wrote a book: “Fiammisday.com the blog for moms”. Can you tell us something about it?

The book essentially describes the first year of my blog. You can find in it many outfit suggestions for women and kids.

Will you tell us your future projects?                     

No! they are super-secret (we burst into laughter)! I promise I will tell you about it very soon but for now all I can say is that it is something important that has to do with charity.
