Eccoci qui! Oggi è?!! Ebbene sì. È S. Valentino!  Non che sia particolarmente “appassionata” a questa ricorrenza , se devo essere del tutto sincera l’amavo più da ragazzina, avete presente i primi amori? Fiori? Cene o meglio pizze veloci ?! Sì,  apprezzavo molto il 14 febbraio; me lo ricordano più che altro i chilometri infiniti di diari che scrivevo e che ho sempre gelosamente custodito … Oggi è  però un giorno perfetto per fare una bella riflessione : l’ AMORE, già, sempre l’amore!  Il mondo, dai tempi dei tempi si divide in due: amore ed odio, passione e distruzione, bianco e nero, essere o non essere, Yang e Ying, luce e buio. Insomma un dualismo  fondamentale che ci appartiene. Ma l’amore che cos’è? Quando  la mia bimba di due anni e mezzo mi ha domandato cosa fosse , ho cercato di risponderle nel più semplice dei modi:  “L’amore è il tuo cuore che batte forte e quando questo batte più forte e ti senti felice, quello è l’amore”. Ginevra, che è una bimba che capisce tutto al volo mi ha detto: “Mamma l’amore non fa paula (paura), allora, vero?”.  Le ho sorriso e le ho detto di no. Lei poi è tornata ai suoi giochi, io invece sono rimasta ferma in silenzio a riflettere sul fatto che invece l’amore fa paura a tanti di noi , anche i bambini per istinto lo sanno che non è un sentimento che dovrebbe far paura … Ma se dovessi pensare più  profondamente a cos’è l’amore aggiungerei che l’amore è quel battito meraviglioso che fa andare avanti il mondo,  è quel sentimento infinitamente semplice, che troppo spesso noi tendiamo a confondere con altro … E se poi il concetto di amore devo applicarlo alla realtà, allora deve essere anche di estremamente divertente … A riguardo vi lascio un video che mi ha divertita molto:  la  storia d’amore di due scarpine, tutto firmato Zalando … https://www.zalando.it/san-valentino/  Buona giornata e un abbraccio.

Here we are… and today is… of course! It’s Valentine’s day! If I have to be honest, I can’t exactly say I’m a big fan of this event, I used to like it when I was a little girl…you know, first loves, first flowers, first dinners together…well, we would pretty much only  go out for a pizza but I remember how much I loved Valentine’s day. And the thousands of pages of all the diaries I wrote, and that I still have, is a good reminder as well… but this is a great day for some reflections. LOVE, since the beginning of time the world is split in two: love and hate, passion and destruction, black and white, to be or not to be, Ying and Yang, light and darkness. All of which are parts of us…but when it comes to love, nobody can really tell what it is. And when my two-year-old daughter asked me what love is I tried to give her the simplest answer: “Love is your heart beating fast when you see someone or something, and when those faster heartbeats make you feel happy, then that’s love”. Ginevra, who is a smart child and understands everything right away, told me: “Mom, love is not scary then, right?” I smiled and told her no… Then she went back playing with her toys but I remained there, in silence, and kept on thinking about the fact that, actually, love can be really scary for a lot of adults, even though even children know that it’s not… but if I had to think more in depth about what love really is, besides what I told my daughter, I would say that love is that amazing beat that makes the world go around and it is that infinitely simple feeling that most of the times is made heavy and complicated by us and we end up mistake with something different… and if I have to think about it realistically, it needs to be something extremely fun and funny, and to this regard here is a cute and funny video of a love story between two little shoes, by Zalando. https://www.zalando.it/san-valentino/   Have a good day, kisses
