L’Hotel che ci ha ospitati è stato il Tratterhof a Maranza, un albergo bellissimo dove ogni persona viene trattata come un principe, dalla famiglia Gruber e il loro team! Noi abbiamo soggiornato nella parte nuova dell’hotel dove la nuovissima SPA Monte Silva è talmente bella da lasciarti senza fiato. Ma non sono solo gli adulti ad avere dei privilegi di benessere, perché il Tratterhof ha anche una piccola Spa per i loro piccoli ospiti. La cucina è incentrata su piatti tradizionali altoatesini e piatti mediterranei raffinati, gustosi e molto buoni.

Sabato

Il sabato mattina siamo stati accompagnati da Karolin, responsabile PR e Marketing dell’area di Rio Pusteria (che poi è stata tutti i due giorni con noi), alla scoperta del doppio comprensorio sciistico Gitschberg -Jochtal.  Noi siamo stati nelle piste di Gitschberg e abbiamo percorso la pista blu e la nuova pista rossa Wastl Huber, salendo spesso nella nuova cabinovia Ski Express. Ginevra è stata seguita per un paio d’ore dallo skiguide Lorenzo che l’ha aiutata a scendere dalle piste, nel modo più corretto possibile. Nella parte del Jochtal c’è una nuovissima pista per bambini e famiglie: la Gimmy Fun Ride, adatta a gli adulti e ai bambini che hanno ancora poca confidenza con gli sci. Il pranzo ha segnato un incontro molto atteso da Ginevra. Arrivati alla baita Gitschhutte dove abbiamo pranzato, ci ha raggiunti il Cavaliere: un personaggio vestito elegante che scia tutto il giorno da queste parti, per proteggere le famiglie e i loro bambini. Questo personaggio è pronto a soccorrere chi ne ha bisogno e a rispondere ad ogni domanda, che riguarda il comprensorio. Il cavaliere, che di nome si chiama Tiziano è un ragazzo che oltre a saper svariate lingue, ha girato il mondo e ci ha allietato il pranzo con i suoi racconti, avventurosi ed entusiasmanti. A fine pranzo ci ha fatto salire su un vero gatto delle nevi, spiegandoci come funziona!

Domenica

Alle ore 10.30 nel nostro Hotel è passata una carrozza! Ad attenderci il suo cocchiere Walter e i suoi due cavalli: Fausto ed Elisa. Dopo esserci accomodati, Walter ci ha portati a fare un giro di circa un’ora. Siamo stati in Valle Altafossa per poi entrare dentro ad un percorso in un bosco innevato, che ci ha riportati a Maranza per poi lasciarci sotto la cabinovia, dove Karolin ci stava attendendo per risalire sul Gitschberg. Era il momento di vivere una nuova avventura!  Il Cavaliere si è aggiunto a noi ancora una volta, per andare a percorrere il Brimi Winter Run, la pista di slittino che è stata aperta nell’inverno tra il 2017/18 con una lunghezza di 7 KM. Per noi, che non eravamo mai saliti su uno slittino e tanto meno scesi da una pista, è stato molto importante, per prima cosa conoscere le regole che vanno assolutamente rispettate, per la sicurezza di adulti e bambini che decidono di svolgere un’attività così divertente.

Regole:

1. Rispetto per gli altri slittini.
2. Scendere con una velocità controllata.
3. Rispettare traiettoria e incroci.
4. Il sorpasso da uno slittino all’altro deve essere sempre fatto solo, con una buona visibilità
5. Sosta: sempre a fianco della pista
6. Salita e discesa: è vietato scendere con gli sci nella pista dello slittino.
7. Rispettare la segnaletica.
8. Equipaggiamento: scarponi adatti (con un buon profilo) e tuta da sci.
9. Caduta: aiutare chi è caduto e liberare lo slittino dalla pista
10. Obbligo del casco sia per adulti che per i bambini.

Dopo averci preso un po’ la mano, devo dire che ci siamo tanto tanto divertiti! Ovviamente è importantissimo ricordare, che con lo slittino, si deve slittare solo nella sua apposita pista. In seguito a tutte questa attività era nuovamente ora di pranzo. Abbiamo deciso così di fermarci a metà pista degli slittini, nella baita di Pichlerhutte, famosa per i suoi piatti e il panorama sulle Dolomiti, la Valle Isarco e la Val Pusteria. Sono stati tre giorni molto belli e intensi, come quelli che amiamo noi. Una vacanza a misura di ogni famiglia con bambini e per chi ha bisogno di staccare un po’la spina e di respirare aria buona, per ritrovare l’energia che manca, in un luogo tranquillo e molto accogliente.

Last weekend we were invited to Rio Pusteria, in South Tyrol to discover the various activities that can be done in the mountains, in those parts.
I am familiar with Trentino-Alto Adige and I already knew that my family and I would spend three days of wellness, good food and fun. The district of Rio Pusteria has not betrayed our expectations even this time!What struck me immediately was the peaceful and blessed climate that I remembered to find in the mountains, only when I was a child. The times, the ways and the philosophy in this part of Italy is certainly more peaceful compared to many other places where we have been guests on holiday.
The Hotel that hosted us was the Tratterhof in Maranza, a beautiful hotel where every person is treated like a prince, by the Gruber family and their team!
We stayed in the new part of the hotel where the brand-new SPA Monte Silva is so beautiful that it leaves you breathless. But it’s not just adults who have wellness privileges, because the Tratterhof also has a small spa for their younger guests. The cuisine is based on traditional South Tyrolean dishes and refined, tasty and very good Mediterranean dishes.

Saturday

On Saturday morning we were accompanied by Karolin, responsible for PR and Marketing of the Rio Pusteria area (which was then two days with us), to discover the double ski area Gitschberg-Jochtal.
We have been in the Gitschberg slopes and we have traveled the blue track and the new red Wastl Huber track, often climbing into the new Ski Express gondola.
Ginevra was followed for a couple of hours by the skiguide Lorenzo who helped her get off the slopes, in the most correct possible way.
In the part of the Jochtal there is a brand-new track for children and families: the Gimmy Fun Ride, suitable for adults and children who still have little confidence in skiing. Lunch marked a much awaited meeting from Ginevra. When we arrived at the Gitschhutte hut where we had lunch, the Knight joined us: an elegantly dressed figure who skis all day around here, to protect families and their children. This character is ready to help those in need and to answer every question, which concerns the district. The knight, whose name is Tiziano, is a boy who, besides knowing several languages, has traveled the world and cheered us up with his stories, adventurous and exciting. At the end of lunch, he made us get on a real snowmobile, explaining how it works!

Sunday

At 10:30 am a carriage has passed in our Hotel!  Waiting for his coachman Walter and his two horses: Fausto and Elisa. After sitting down, Walter took us for about an hour. We were in Valle Altafossa and then entered into a path in a snowy forest, which brought us back to Maranza and then leave us under the gondola, where Karolin was waiting for us to go back up the Gitschberg. It was time to experience a new adventure! The Knight has been added to us once again, to go on the Brimi Winter Run, the toboggan run which was opened in the winter between 2017/18 with a length of 7 KM.
For us, that we had never climbed on a sledging slope and even less off a track, it was very important, first of all to know the rules that must be absolutely respected, for the safety of adults and children who decide to carry out an activity like this funny.

Rules:

1. Respect for other toboggans.2. Get off at a controlled speed.3. Respect trajectory and intersections.4. Overtaking from one toboggan to another must always be done alone, with good visibility5. Stop: always next to the track6. Ascent and descent: it is forbidden to go skiing on the toboggan run.7. Respect the signs.8. Equipment: suitable boots (with a good profile) and ski suit.9. Fall: help those who have fallen and free the sled from the track10. Helmet obligation for both adults and children.
After taking a little ‘hand, I must say that we have so much fun! Obviously, it is important to remember, that with the sledging, you must only slip in its appropriate track.
After all this activity it was time for lunch again. So we decided to stop at the half-toboggan track, in the Pichlerhutte hut, famous for its dishes and the panorama of the Dolomites, the Valle Isarco and the Val Pusteria. They were three very beautiful and intense days, like the ones we love.
A holiday suitable for every family with children and for those who need to take a break from the thorns and breathe fresh air, to regain the energy that is lacking, in a quiet and very welcoming place.

Are we ready for the holidays? I still do not know where I will go specifically in August, but certainly in some beautiful island …… you know I love them! In the last few years my favorite destination was Sardinia and if I do not go there in August, I will surely make a wonderful long weekend in July! ! With Sardinia I have a kind of secret love, so do not tell anyone! I have visited this island far and wide: I have been in Costa Smeralda and I stayed in the central part towards Arbatax; I swam in the crystal clear waters near Villasimius and I lost myself among the enchanting lanes of Carlo Forte. It is clear to you that I have visited it all, right?But how do you get from the mainland in Sardinia? Well the main transport are two: the plane or one of the many and comfortable ferries. We usually prefer the second choice, because we do traveling holidays, but this year we will go to Santa Teresa di Gallura to find one of my best friends who has just had a baby and so it will be a much more relaxing vacation! But what is a must to see when you are on such a special island? There are many guides about it, but among my favorites we find the guide that gives advice on how to live Sardinia all year round. In this guide it is recommended to go and see the paradise of the marine parks such as: the marine protected natural area of ​​Capo Caccia, the protected marine area of ​​the Sinis Peninsula and the protected marine area of ​​Capo Carbonara. But these are not the only ones. In the north-eastern part of the island we find the archipelago of La Maddalena and the protected marine area Tavolara/Capo Coda Cavallo. On the guide you will also find many tips on the culinary specialties of Sardinia. Personally I recommend the pasta with the Bottarga or the Spaghetti with the sea urchins. But we want to talk about the Sardinian fregola? For lovers of good wine one of their specialties is Vermentino di Gallura, such as Canayli, Capichera, Argiolas and Ruinas, white wines with a wide and velvety taste.The “DOC” desserts are the Gallura acciuleddi which are made up of braided fried lard with honey. You will come home thin and tanned!!!! I assure you the second, but not the first…. Do you know what I love most of all of Sardinia? Now you will think: the sea!In fact, there is no such crystalline sea anywhere! And it’s true! But there is one thing that I love even more and it is its scent, I could recognize it among 1000 others. Sardinia has a scent that is unmistakable …… a mix of salt, sea shrubs, myrtle and broom and many other indistinct herbs that together with the heated rock of the earth, create a unique essence: the essence of Sardinia.

Ovviamente lei mi ha chiesto se ho visto dal vero uno di questi bellissimi luoghi, allora le ho raccontato di quando sono stata in Messico e ho visitato ChiChèn Itzà, ha voluto vedere le fotografie a allora siamo scese in cantina abbiamo raccolto lo scatolone dove tengo le fotografie dei miei ricordi più belli e siamo risalite. Ci siamo sistemate sul tappeto di casa e abbiamo iniziato a guardare le varie fotografie. Dopo mezz’ora di domande ha voluto ritornare a capire per bene quale erano gli altri luoghi di questo pianeta che sono dentro alla classifica delle 7 meraviglie del mondo e io sono tornata a rileggermi l’articolo del Magazine del Club Med! E allora con la mente abbiamo viaggiato in Brasile e poi in Perù, abbiamo camminato sul Grande Muraglia Cinese e simo andate a visitare il Colosseo. È stato un pomeriggio bellissimo nel quale una mamma e sua figlia con la mente hanno viaggiato nei 7 luoghi più belli del mondo. A presto. Nichy

Children’s questions are wonderful, have you ever thought about it? Me and my baby do crazy trips and only with the mind. Imagine us, sit comfortably on the couch and she starts to ask me a thousand questions. I have to tell you the truth, often the web has helped me a lot … .. sometimes it raises questions that I do not even know where to start answering. But I love those moments when we travel with the mind and we can be anything or find us anywhere in the world!In this regard, Ginny, to whom nothing goes, has heard of the 7 wonders of the world during a news broadcast. I like her way of doing!When she listening to something interesting and wanting to know more, first elaborates the information received on its own, then approaches me and always begins the phrase with “Mom though” …. When she looks for me and her sentence begins with one, however, I already know that she will ask me one of those research and difficult questions!!! Because we all know that children want accurate and honest answers. Ginevra that day asked me exactly what the 7 wonders of the world were. I took her by the hand and went looking for a web site that had a review worthy of a response for a baby, so simple and effective. I just came across the Club Med Magazine. Fantastic, I thought!Who better than the Magazine of one of the most important travel agencies to help me? In fact it was just like that. To Ginevra I explained that the seven wonders of the earth are:

Obviously she asked me if I saw one of these beautiful places alive.I told her when I was in Mexico and I visited ChiChèn Itza!She wanted to see the photographs, so we went down to the cellar and we recovered the box of my best memories and went up. After half an hour of questions about Mexico, her curiosity has returned to other places on this planet, ranked among the 7 wonders of the world and I came back to read the article in the Club Med Magazine!With the mind we traveled to Brazil, we walked to the Great Wall of China and went to visit the Colosseum. It was a very interesting afternoon; my daughter had the power to make us travel to the 7 most beautiful places in the world thanks to her spectacular curiosity.  See you soon

Per il ponte del 2 giugno, come anticipato, siamo stati a Verbania, sul Lago Maggiore, ospiti in una casa vacanze Homeaway.it  a di poco fantastica. Ad ogni mia foto postata, mi sono arrivate milioni di domande, tutti incuriositi da tanto splendore!

Ecco, senza presunzione, questo è ciò che ho provato io durante il nostro soggiorno in villa Suna a Verbania.  Siamo arrivati tutti e tre già molto entusiasti; la casa poteva ospitare sino a 6 persone e abbiamo colto l’occasione per invitare una coppia di amici con una bimba dell’età di Ginevra (in tanti mi avete chiesto se quella bimba, Allegra, fosse mia figlia: vi assicuro che se avessi avuto un’altra figlia, non l’avrei tenuto nascosto per anni!). Vi assicuro che la visione della casa ci ha lasciato letteralmente senza parole. Avevamo già sbirciato qualche foto dal sito, ma dal vivo l’impatto è stato incredibile. Organizzata in due strutture, la casa principale e la dependance, villa Suna rappresenta sicuramente l’ abitazione dei sogni per la maggior parte delle persone. La casa principale è divisa su due piani: al piano superiore vi si trovano due camere matrimoniali, un bagno, un salotto arredato in stile anni ’50 con chaise longue e cannocchiale per ammirare il paesaggio ed una cucina fornitissima dove era posta l’ormai famosissima altalena trasparente, una vera chicca. Le vetrate, pazzesche, davano la possibilità di spaziare la visuale dal Lago Maggiore alle sue tre Isole Borromee (l’Isola Madre, Dei Pescatori e L’isola Bella), sino al paese di Verbania e poi su, fino alle montagne tutto intorno. Al piano inferiore,  un’altra camera open space con un bagno, un salottino dotato di vanity e due poltrone poste vista lago. Questa enorme terza camera, ha il solo letto matrimoniale, separato da tutto il resto, posto proprio di fronte alla vetrata sul lago e un balcone in legno che si congiunge al giardino della casa e alla piscina. Tutto sistemato in modo ordinato e quasi maniacale: il giardino terrazzato, essendo la casa in collina, ma comunque ricco di vegetazione, statue e ben curato. E poi la piscina che la cui vista dava la percezione di terminare là dove iniziava il lago. La dependance, sempre tutta a vetri era composta da una stanza divisa tra zona salotto e cucina e terminava, giusto per non farsi mancare nulla, con una piccola palestra, ma ultra dotata. Ginevra ed Allegra si sono divertite tantissimo, hanno giocato, nuotato, si sono “perse” in ogni stanza della casa inventandosi le loro mille storie. Una casa a misura di famiglia e bambini. I ragazzi sabato 3 giugno sono andati a comprare il pesce, lo hanno cucinato al barbecue in giardino e poi hanno guardato una delle partite più importanti degli ultimi anni (almeno stando a quello che ci hanno detto loro, patiti di calcio)  Juventus – Real  Madrid nell’enorme proiettore che c’era nel salottino della dependance. In partenza avevamo progettato di andare a visitare un sacco di luoghi, ma la casa ci ha letteralmente stregati e abbiamo preferito goderci totalmente quanto la fortuna ha voluto offrirci. Non abbiamo comunque perso l’occasione di fare il giro del lago con una barchetta e visitare, tra le tre, la bellissima  isola dei Pescatori, dove abbiamo bevuto un aperitivo inebriati dal profumo del gelsomino che cresce ovunque. Che altro dire? Oltre a consigliarvi di visitare il lago Maggiore con il suo turismo quasi di nicchia, non posso fare altro che suggerirvi di cogliere l’opportunità di alloggiare in una casa HomeAway.it , case selezionate e curate che possono contribuire in maniera notevole a rendere la vostra vacanza indimenticabile.  A presto!

For the June 2nd holiday, as we anticipated, we stayed at Verbania on Lake Maggiore, guests at a fantastic Homeaway.it holiday home. With every photo I posted, millions of questions came to me, all curious for so much splendor!Do you know when you have the feeling of not wanting to ask anything else, why what is already offered is the top? Here this is what I tried during our stay in Villa Suna in Verbania. We’ve leave all three already very excited: the house could accommodate up to 6 people and we took the opportunity to invite a couple of friends with a baby girl from the age of Ginevra (so many asked me if that girl, Allegra, was my daughter!) I assure you that if I had another daughter, I would not have kept it hidden for years!). The house’s vision left us literally speechless. We had already peek some photos from the site, but live the impact was amazing. Organized in two structures, the main house and the dependance, Villa Suna is definitely the home of dreams for most people. The main house is divided into two floors: on the upper floor there are two double bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge furnished in the 1950s style with a chaise longue and telescope to admire the landscape and a fully equipped kitchen where it was now the famous transparent swing, a real gem. The stained glass windows gave the opportunity to move the view from Lake Maggiore to its three Borromean Islands (l’Isola Madre, Dei Pescatori e L’isola Bella), to the country of Verbania and then up to the mountains all around. Downstairs, another open space with a bathroom, a living room with vanity and two armchair with lake view. This huge third bedroom has the only double bed, separate from everything else, right in front of the stained glass window and a wooden balcony joining the garden of the house and the pool. Everything is arranged neatly and almost maniacally. The attic, always in glass, consisted of a room divided between lounge area and kitchen, and ended, with a small but ultra-equipped gym. Ginevra and Allegra enjoyed a great deal, played, swam, lost in each room of the house inventing their thousand stories. A home for family and children. The guys on Saturday June 3 went to buy the fish, cooked it at the barbecue in the garden and then looked Juventus-Real Madrid, one of the most important games of the last few years, in the huge projector that was in the drawing-room. Before to leave we had planned to visit a lot of places, but the house literally wandered us and we preferred to enjoy totally how lucky he wanted to offer us.  However, we did not miss the opportunity to go on a boat trip and visit, the beautiful Isola dei Pescatori, where we drank something with the fragrance of jasmine growing everywhere. What else to say? Certainly to visit Lake Maggiore with its tourism and than to take the opportunity to stay in a HomeAway.it home, selected and cured homes that can greatly contribute to make your vacation unforgettable.
