Siamo pronti per le vacanze? Io non so ancora dove andrò di preciso ad agosto, ma sicuramente in qualche bell’ isola……sapete che le adoro! Negli ultimi anni la mia meta preferita è stata la Sardegna e se non ci andrò in agosto, farò sicuramente un bellissimo week-end lungo a luglio! Con la Sardegna ho una specie di amore segreto, quindi non ditelo a nessuno… Ho visitato quest’isola in lungo e in largo: sono stata nella scicchissima Costa Smeralda ed ho soggiornato nella parte centrale verso Arbatax; ho nuotato nelle acque cristalline nei paraggi di Villasimius e mi sono persa tra gli incantevoli vicoli di Carlo Forte. Vi è chiaro che l’ho proprio visitata tutta, no? Ma come si arriva dalla terra ferma in Sardegna? Beh i mezzi principali sono due: l’aereo oppure uno dei tanti e comodissimi traghetti. Noi che facciamo sempre vacanze itineranti preferiamo la seconda scelta, ma quest’anno andremo a Santa Teresa di Gallura a trovare una delle mie migliori amiche che ha appena avuto un bambino e quindi sarà una vacanza molto più relax! Ma cosa è d’obbligo andare a vedere quando si è su un’isola così speciale? Ci sono molte guide informatiche a riguardo, ma tra le mie preferite troviamo la guida che dà consigli su come vivere la Sardegna tutto l’anno. In questa guida viene consigliato di andare a vedere il paradiso dei parchi marini come: l’area naturale marina protetta Capo Caccia, l’area marina protetta Penisola del Sinis e l’area marina protetta Capo Carbonara. Questi però non sono gli unici. Nella zona nord orientale dell’isola troviamo l’arcipelago de La Maddalena e l’area marina protetta Tavolara/Capo Coda Cavallo. Sulla guida trovate anche molti consigli sulle specialità culinarie della Sardegna. Personalmente io vi consiglio la pasta con la Bottarga o gli Spaghetti con i ricci. Ma vogliamo parlare della fregola Sarda? Per gli amanti del buon vino una loro specialità è il Vermentino di Gallura, come il Canayli, Capichera, Argiolas e il Ruinas, vini bianchi dal gusto ampio e vellutato. I dolci “DOC” sono gli acciuleddi della Gallura che sono composti da treccine di strutto fritte ricoperte di miele. Tornerete a casa snelli e abbronzatissimi!!!! Vi assicuro la seconda, ma non la prima… Sapete cosa amo più di tutto della Sardegna? Adesso voi penserete: il mare! In effetti non lo si trova da nessuna parte così cristallino! Ed è vero! Ma c’è una cosa che amo ancora di più ed è il suo profumo, lo potrei riconoscere tra altri 1000. La Sardegna ha un profumo che è inconfondibile…… un mix di salsedine, cespugli marini, mirto e ginestra e tante altre erbe indistinte che insieme alla roccia scaldata della terra, creano un’essenza unica: l’essenza della Sardegna.

Are we ready for the holidays? I still do not know where I will go specifically in August, but certainly in some beautiful island …… you know I love them! In the last few years my favorite destination was Sardinia and if I do not go there in August, I will surely make a wonderful long weekend in July! ! With Sardinia I have a kind of secret love, so do not tell anyone! I have visited this island far and wide: I have been in Costa Smeralda and I stayed in the central part towards Arbatax; I swam in the crystal clear waters near Villasimius and I lost myself among the enchanting lanes of Carlo Forte. It is clear to you that I have visited it all, right?But how do you get from the mainland in Sardinia? Well the main transport are two: the plane or one of the many and comfortable ferries. We usually prefer the second choice, because we do traveling holidays, but this year we will go to Santa Teresa di Gallura to find one of my best friends who has just had a baby and so it will be a much more relaxing vacation! But what is a must to see when you are on such a special island? There are many guides about it, but among my favorites we find the guide that gives advice on how to live Sardinia all year round. In this guide it is recommended to go and see the paradise of the marine parks such as: the marine protected natural area of Capo Caccia, the protected marine area of the Sinis Peninsula and the protected marine area of Capo Carbonara. But these are not the only ones. In the north-eastern part of the island we find the archipelago of La Maddalena and the protected marine area Tavolara/Capo Coda Cavallo. On the guide you will also find many tips on the culinary specialties of Sardinia. Personally I recommend the pasta with the Bottarga or the Spaghetti with the sea urchins. But we want to talk about the Sardinian fregola? For lovers of good wine one of their specialties is Vermentino di Gallura, such as Canayli, Capichera, Argiolas and Ruinas, white wines with a wide and velvety taste.The “DOC” desserts are the Gallura acciuleddi which are made up of braided fried lard with honey. But there is one thing that I love even more and it is its scent, I could recognize it among 1000 others. Sardinia has a scent that is unmistakable …… a mix of salt, sea shrubs, myrtle and broom and many other indistinct herbs that together with the heated rock of the earth, create a unique essence: the essence of Sardinia.

Buongiorno a tutti e buon rientro per chi come me è tornato a casa!! E beati quelli che il relax se lo stanno ancora vivendo. Grazie a tutti per come mi avete seguito nell’ultimo periodo, siete ultra numerosi: 50mila su Instagram ?? Grazie…. Ok, oggi vi fornisco qualche info a proposito della nostra vacanza in Sardegna. In tantissimi mi avete chiesto dove ci trovassimo, vi rispondo ora: eravamo a Santa Maria Navarrese. Il bel paese è situato nella parte centrale della Sardegna, a 2 ore di auto dall’aeroporto di Olbia, a 10 minuti da Arbatrax. Conosco molto bene la Sardegna, la frequento da quando ero bambina: ho visitato l’entroterra con lunghi giri in auto e l’ho visitata lungo le sponde a bordo di una barca. L’ultimo posto in cui vi manderei è la tanto conosciuta e patinata Porto Cervo. Certo, se volete incontrare vip e svenarvi per bere un caffè, è perfetta, ma se siete alla ricerca della vera Sardegna, allora la direzione è sicuramente quella opposta. A Santa Maria Navarrese abbiamo alloggiato in un bellissimo albergo, il Mediterraneo, situato fronte mare, con spiaggia privata ed uno stile di arredamento molto esotico che ci ha conquistati. I proprietari e il personale hanno poi fatto il resto per rendere la nostra una vacanza meravigliosa! Questa parte della Sardegna offre tantissimo alle famiglie : dalle spiagge tra le più belle d’Europa, come quella che abbiamo visto durante una gita in barca a Cala Mariuolo, ai ristoranti e alle pizzerie. I paesaggi poi sono da favola. Siamo stati a cena in un ovile ad un’ora e mezza dalla civiltà. E’ stato a dir poco meraviglioso. Ci hanno trasportato con i Defender per stradine tortuose per poi arrivare in un luogo magico circondato da capre e asini, dove abbiamo gustato il maialino (il porceddu), piatto tipico sardo. Abbiamo riempito le giornate dei nostri bambini con più esperienze: da montare un cavallo e andare con le canoe a fare gite per le varie spiagge del posto. Tra le mie preferite vi posso consigliare le spiagge di Faraglioni alla Cea, Porto Frailis, le Piscinette e il Golfetto (entrambe a lido di Orrì , Tortorì). Io ci ho lasciato letteralmente il cuore…. E’ stata una vacanza molto bella, all’insegna di mille esperienze importanti che ci rimarranno nel cuore. Grazie a voi che siete sempre più numerosi, attenti e calorosi nel seguirci.

In a large number of you have asked me where I could find it, I answer now: we were in Santa Maria Navarrese. The beautiful country is located in the central part of Sardinia, 2 hours drive from Olbia Airport, 10 minutes from Arbatrax. I know very well as Sardinia, I attend I was a child: I visited the hinterland with long rides in the car and I visited along the banks on board a boat. The owners and staff have done the rest to make our a wonderful holiday! This part of Sardinia offers a lot to families: from the beaches of the most beautiful in Europe, like the one we saw during a boat trip to Cala Mariuolo, to restaurants and pizzerias. The later landscapes are fabulous. We had dinner in a pen to an hour and a half from civilization. E ‘was nothing short of wonderful. They carried with Defender for winding streets to arrive in a magical place surrounded by goats and donkeys, where we enjoyed the pig (suckling pig), typical Sardinian dish. We filled the days of our children with more experience: to mount a horse and go with the canoe to take trips to the various beaches of the place. One of my favorites I can recommend the beaches of the Faraglioni Cea, Porto Frailis, the Piscinette and Golfetto (both Orrì Lido, Tortori). I have left us literally at the heart …. It ‘was a very nice holiday, full of a thousand important experiences that will remain in the heart. Thank you that you are more and more numerous, attentive and warm in following us

Sardegna suitable for children

Buongiorno a tutti! in questi giorni sto programmando un po’ di cose da fare e da scrivere, nel frattempo vi racconto la nostra vacanza in Sardegna. In molti mi avete chiesto dove mi trovavo quando postavo le foto in Facebook o Instagram, ma per la privacy della mia famiglia e degli amici con cui eravamo in vacanza, non vi ho mai svelato nulla. Oggi posso raccontarvelo tranquillamente. Eravamo a Calasetta, nell’isola di S. Antioco, a sud ovest della Sardegna, in un posto incantato. Ci rechiamo in Sardegna almeno una volta all’ anno, ma qui non c’eravamo mai stati. Nonostante non si possa negare la bellezza della Costa Smeralda, devo dirvi che il Sud mi ha colpito molto. I luoghi erano talmente belli da ricordare i Caraibi. Ho visto decine di spiagge diverse, di una bellezza mozzafiato. Le vacanze oggi le scegliamo su misura di Ginevra e la Sardegna rispecchia perfettamente la sua vacanza ideale. La mia bambina ha potuto sguazzare ore nel mare limpidissimo e anche se ci spostavamo più a largo, l’acqua rimaneva bassa per un bel po’. Ha passato ore a costruire castelli di sabbia bianchissima e a godere dei profumi e colori del posto. Al Sud i prezzi sono ottimi: alla sera abbiamo cenato in buonissimi ristoranti di pesce. La zona è famosa per il tonno. La Tonnara dell’ isola, situata di fronte a S.Pietro, dove si trovava il nostro appartamento, esporta tonno in tutto il mondo. Quando abbiamo cenato a casa abbiamo fatto incetta di frutta e verdura a prezzi super convenienti! Oltre a trascorrere le giornate in spiaggia, di cui vi parlerò a breve, abbiamo visitato quanto la zona offriva. A Carbonia non ci siamo lasciati scappare ovviamente il museo del carbone e le sue miniere sotterranee dove, negli anni 50, lavoravano quasi 8 mila persone in condizioni pessime: solo per prendersi le lanterne e recarsi a lavorare sotto, i minatori dovevano fare ogni mattina 2 ore di fila. Ci pensate ? Lavoravano 15 ore al giorno sotto terra , respiravano aria malsana e 2 ore della loro giornata la spendevano nell’attesa di una lanterna. Oggi sono chiuse perché illegali, ma sappiamo che le miniere nel mondo non sono sparite: ci sono ancora molte persone a lavorare in condizioni a dir poco pietose.Per tornar al discorso spiagge, la migliore in assoluto credo sia la spiaggia di Porto Pino (proprio in quel periodo c’era in vacanza Giorgio Armani, mica ha scelto male lui!) ! Mare azzurro, spiaggia bianchissima, ampia e pulita, dune… un vero incanto. Ma volete proprio sapere cosa più mi è piaciuto davvero tanto di questo soggiorno ? La notte. Si, alla sera, quando calava l’oscurità e le pochissime luci di S.Antioco si spegnevano, noi potevamo accomodarci in giardino e guardare le stelle e la via Lattea. Ginevra ed io abbiamo visto tantissime stelle cadenti. Sapete, Ginevra dice di avere una stella tutta sua che chiama “Brilla, brilla”. In realtà non è una stella, ma è il pianeta Venere che a lei piace chiamare così . E’ talmente luminoso che è impossibile non notarlo e Ginny dice che è tutta suo! Ciò mi riporta ad uno dei ricordi più belli che ho di mio padre, quando trascorrevamo le notti d’estate con il naso all’insù ad ammirare il cielo. Spero che anche Ginevra vi si appassioni … buona continuazione… vi abbraccio.

The places were so beautiful to remember the Caribbean. I saw dozens of different beaches, breathtakingly beautiful. The holidays today we choose tailored Geneva and Sardinia perfectly reflects his ideal holiday. My little girl was able to wallow hours in the clear sea and although we moved further out, the water remained low for a while ‘. He spent hours building sand castles white and enjoy the scents and colors of the place. In the South the prices are great: the night we dined in delicious seafood restaurants. The area is famous for tuna. The Tonnara of ‘island, situated in front of St. Peter, where he was our apartment, tuna exports worldwide. When we had dinner at home we did stock up on fruit and vegetables at very affordable prices! Besides spending days on the beach, which we will discuss shortly, we visited as the area offered. In Carbonia we did not miss of course the Museum of coal and its underground mines where, in 50 years, almost 8,000 people were working in very bad conditions, only to take the lantern and go to work in, the miners had to do every morning 2 hours straight. You think about it? They worked 15 hours a day under the ground, breathing unhealthy air and the two hours of their day spent waiting for a lantern. Are closed today because illegal, but we know that the mines in the world have not disappeared: there are still many people to work in conditions nothing short of pitiful.
! To return to the speech beaches, the absolute best I believe is the beach of Porto Pino (at that time was on vacation Giorgio Armani, mica chose him bad!)! Blue sea, white sand, wide and clean, dunes … an absolute delight. But you really want to know what more I really enjoyed this stay? The night. Yes, in the evening, when darkness fell and the few lights S.Antioco went out, we could get comfortable in the garden and watch the stars and the Milky Way. Geneva and I have seen many shooting stars. You know, Geneva say they have a star of her own calling “Twinkle, Twinkle”. It really is not a star, but it is the planet Venus that she likes to call it. It ‘so bright that it is impossible to miss and Ginny says it’s all his! This brings me to one of the best memories I have of my father, when we spent the summer nights with the nose to watch the sky. I hope that you are passionate about Geneva … good time … I embrace.

Buongiorno a tutti…. Rieccomi qui, mi siete mancati un bel po’, lo sapete? Ma queste vacanze ci volevano perché sono ritornata rigenerata e voi, come state? Dove siete andati in vacanza? Allora: noi abbiamo fatto 10 giorni in Sardegna e un’altra settimana a Merano. In Sardegna eravamo a Santa Teresa di Gallura, per chi mi segue sui mie vari social già lo sa perché ho postato molte foto, siamo stati ospiti a casa della famiglia Pesoli dei nostri carissimi amici, tra l’altro lui gioca a pallone e per chi segue il calcio sa anche che ora gioca nel Pescara e sempre per voi amanti del pallone, vi anticipo, che presto mi rilascerà un intervista dove ci racconterà molte cose… Come sono andate la vacanza in Sardegna lo approfondirò in un prossimo post… e in un successivo vi racconterò di Merano che, come sempre siamo stati all’ Hotel Hohenwart, ci sono degli aneddoti che vi voglio raccontare belli e divertenti… Oggi prima di tutto devo fare una cosa: RINGRAZIARVI perché mi state seguendo sempre più numerosi e non so che dire, se non GRAZIE! Good morning everyone! I’m back…I missed you a lot! But this vacation was much needed and now I feel reinvigorated, how about you? Where have you been? We spent 10 days in Sardinia e another week in Merano. In Sardinia we stayed at Santa Teresa di Gallura, those of you who follow me on my several social networks already know that as I have been posting lots of pictures. We were guests by the Pesoli family, who are great friends of ours. Also, he plays soccer and currently plays for the Pescara team, I am going to interview him very soon for all of you soccer lovers. I will let you know how our vacation in Sardinia went in the next post… As for Merano, we stayed at the Hohenwart as usual. Buongiorno, eccoci qui a preparare nuovamente le valigie, mi aspettano settimane di solo relax! Quest’anno abbiamo optato per la Sardegna per i primi 10 giorni di agosto e come ormai d’abitudine, Merano per gli altri 7. Adoro viaggiare, andare, conoscere … come tutti del resto! Ginevra non vede l’ora di riprendere l’aereo, lo adora! Però quando torni dal mare e hai soltanto un giorno per rifare tutta la valigia e partire per la montagna, non sempre le cose sono semplici … i problemi sono altri ovviamente, qui è solo una questione di organizzazione e io che viaggio da quando sono piccola sono abbastanza preparata in materia. Intanto ho deciso di mettere in valigia un abbigliamento che ci tiene anche caldi, perché con i climi e le piogge di questi tempi non si sa mai, di conseguenza cose che andranno bene anche per la montagna… Preparo già, prima di partire, sul lettone gli indumenti per la seconda vacanza, così quando arriverò a casa farò le lavatrici delle prima e infilerò gli abiti per Merano nello spazio vuoto … così in una giornata dovrei riuscire a fare tutto! Ovviamente Nicola si lamenterà come solito fare perché porto via troppe cose, ma non importa … sapete io ho sempre l’alibi di essere bionda e di soffrire della sindrome di Marilyn Monroe… Vi auguro buone vacanze e vi ringrazio tanto per essere sempre così numerosi (e preziosi ) nel leggermi! Seguitemi sui mie vari social, così vi racconterò come stanno andando le vacanze e se vivete all’ estero e non sapete dove andare, vi ricordo che io vivo nel paese più bello del mondo! Good morning, here we are, packing once again, some relaxing weeks are waiting for me! This year we picked Sardinia for the first ten days of August and then, as usual, Merano for the following seven days. I love traveling, going places, seeing things…just like everybody! And Ginevra cannot wait to get on a plane again, she loves it! But you know, it’s not very easy to come home from a sea place and pack again to go to a mountain place in just one day…real problems are clearly different, but good organizational skills are required in situations like this, and I have been traveling since I was a child so I’m quite good at it. First of all, I decided to put in the bag for the seaside also some garments that could keep us warm, just in case, especially considering the current rainy weather conditions and cold temperatures…which will be perfect for going to the mountains as well… Also, I’m going to prepare all the clothes for the second vacation on the bed before we leave, so that when we get back from the seaside all I will have to do is washing the clothes from the first vacation and stick the warmer clothes that I have already prepared in the luggage. Obviously Nicola is going to complain about me bringing too many things, as usual…you know, I always use the alibi of being blond and suffering from the Marilyn Monroe syndrome… I wish you a great vacation and I want to thank you for being so many and so precious reading my posts!
