Buon lunedì a tutti! Cosa avete fatto di bello questo week-end? Noi siamo stati a Jesolo, ma venerdì sera abbiamo partecipato alla prima festina dell’asilo di Ginevra è stata molto divertente, e io ero ultra emozionata! Dei papà molto coraggiosi hanno fatto anche un balletto, mi hanno fatto morire dal ridere … E se di emozioni parliamo, allora vi racconto che la mia piccola Ginevra di 2 anni ha abbandonato il pannolino definitivamente! Insomma, le ho spiegato un paio di volte che ormai era grande, che era arrivato il momento che facesse pipì&pupu nel suo vasino … inizialmente non era d’accordo. L’ho lasciata stare ma vedevo che giorno dopo giorno prendeva confidenza con questo famoso vasino … fatto sta che una mattina le ho tolto il pannolino e le ho detto qui devi fare pipì e lei l’ha fatta, si è alzata in piedi, l’ha guardata e ha esclamato: “Ciao pipì”. E l’ha salutata con la manina (sono scoppiata a ridere). Nei giorni successivi ogni tanto è capitato si sia fatta la pipì addosso, ma io l’ho sempre rassicurata e premiata quando la faceva nel posto giusto. Nel giro di 1 mese ora anche alla notte mi sveglia per dirmi che le scappa la pipì! Abbiamo comprato nel sito online www.kiddykabane.com questo vasino, è bello perché è fatto di tre pezzi staccabili e i bambini possono divertirsi a lavarlo e risistemarlo e poi, per quando cresce, c’è già il riduttore per il water! Che dire? La mia bimba era pronta a dire addio al pannolino, provate voi a metterglielo su un’altra volta se siete in grado di prenderla, perché ora vi sorriderà e vi dirà che è grande! Ed è vero … per lei è stata una conquista incredibile e sono sicura che le farà bene un giorno, anche per la stima di se stessa. Buona giornata!! Un bacio.

Happy Monday what have you been doing this weekend? We have been in Jesolo and Friday evening the first festina asylum in Ginevra was a lot of fun, and I was ultra excited! I explained to her a couple of times that she was now getting big and that it was time for her to start using her potty, but at first she wasn’t too happy about that. But then I left her alone for a while and I noticed that day by day she was getting more confident with the potty… Then one day I took her diaper off and I told her to go peepee in the potty, and she did. When she was done she stood up, looked at the potty and said: “Hello peepee!” while she was waiving at it (it was too funny). In the following days she peed in her panties a couple of times, but she also did pee in her potty. I always reassure her and reward her when she does it in the right place. Now, in only one month, she wakes me up at night telling me that she needs to go to the toilet! We bought this potty from the website www.kiddykabane.com, it is really nice because it is composed of three separable pieces and children can have fun washing and fixing it! And when they get bigger you already have the toilet reducer! I often get asked if it is not too soon to stop using diapers, so I answer that it is only too soon if we think it is and that every child has their own timings and which must absolutely be respected. My daughter was ready to say goodbye to diapers. Now I couldn’t get her to wear a diaper if I tried! She would smile at me and say that she is big now!
