Buongiorno! Oggi e domani vi racconto la mia settimana della moda. Partendo dal fatto che il mio amore per Chanel rimane incondizionato e a seguire Roberto Cavalli, che da sempre vesto e amo vestire mia figlia da quando è nata, oggi vi voglio parlare di Moschino! Olalà !!! Quand’ ero ragazzina vedevo mia sorella, che ha 9 anni più di me, sempre vestita Moschino: un brand particolare, fashion da matti e sempre avanti anni luce, com’è mia sorella Lara d’altra parte… Anche quest’anno il marchio è riuscito a farmi battere il cuore riportando sulle passerelle dell’alta moda una donna che finalmente vuole essere donna e in quanto tale riprendersi la propria femminilità! Ha ripresentato in sfilata la donna Barbie, ma attenzione, non la donna bambola, ma la Barbie in quanto sinonimo di eleganza, fashion e femminilità e per una come me, che da bambina aveva tutta la collezione Mattel originale, sapete cosa significa? Vi racconto un aneddoto: io ho 3 nipoti (presto saranno 4 ma questa è un’altra storia), si chiamano Fabiola, Alice e Giorgia e hanno rispettivamente 18, 17 e 14 anni. Dieci anni fa le ho portate tutte presso un giocattolaio a scegliere una bambola ciascuna e ovviamente le indirizzai nel reparto Barbie e cercai con loro quella più adatta ad ognuna. Ma loro non mi stavano ad ascoltare e cercavano altro, una certa Braz di cui io non sapevo nemmeno l’ esistenza. Con loro tra gli scaffali ho iniziato a cercare quel modello di Barbie. Fatto sta che ad un certo punto hanno trovatolo lo scaffale delle Braz… avrei tanto voluto filmare la mia faccia quando le ho viste! Non era possibile! Io avevo trascorso la mia infanzia-adolescenza a giocare con le Barbie, a pettinarle e vestirle come principesse mentre loro, lei mie adorate nipotine, mi stavano chiedendo bambole che assomigliavano non vi dico nemmeno a chi o a cosa , vestite con tanto di mini gonna vertiginosa, trucco pesantissimo e lontano mille anni luce dalle mie bambole. Fatto sta, che dopo una lunga discussione, hanno vinto loro e mi sono vista costretta a comperare le Braz… Uff, non ero per nulla soddisfatta dei miei acquisti! Quindi Grazie al brand Moschino, marchio fondato nel 1983 da Franco Moschino il cui proprietario oggi è il gruppo Aeffe e grazie a Jeremy Scott, guida creativa, per aver riportato in passerella le mie Barbie e quel modello di donna che trova nella propria femminilità il suo punto di forza maggiore! Good morning, today and tomorrow I will be talking about my Fashion Week: first of all, I have fallen in love with Chanel which I will keep in my heart forever, then there is Roberto Cavalli, these are the brands I use the most, I have always been using them for my and my daughter’s outfits. But today I want to talk about Moschino! Oh là là!! When I was younger I would always see my sister, who is 9 years older than me, wearing Moschino clothes. It is definitely a particular brand: extremely fashionable and always ahead of the times, just like my sister Lara is. And also this year Moschino was able to make my heart pound by presenting on the haute couture’s runways a woman who finally wants to get her femininity back! Moschino brought back the Barbie Girl, not as a “plastic doll”, but as a role model of elegance and femininity, and for someone like myself, who used to have a collection of at least 100 Mattel Barbie dolls, you can imagine how that makes me feel! Let me tell you something that happened a few years ago: I have 3 nieces (soon to be 4, but that’s another story). Their names are Fabiola, Alice and Giorgia and they are respectively 18, 17 and 14. About ten years ago I took them to a toy store so that each one of them could pick a doll. Of course I tried to direct them to the Barbie section and we to pick out with them the best Barbie dolls, but none of them was paying attention to me and they were actually looking for something else. They were looking for some doll called Bratz, which I had never heard of before. So we started looking for this Bratz doll and once we had found the dedicated section, oh I wish someone had filmed my face, I just couldn’t believe it! I spent my entire childhood playing with my beloved Barbie dolls, brushing their hair and dressing them like beautiful princesses and my little nieces were asking for dolls that looked just like, I can’t even say it! With super short miniskirts and extremely heavy makeup: they were nowhere near my conception of doll. So, after a long negotiation, I had to buy them those Bratz dolls…I wasn’t happy at all about my purchase! That’s why I would like to say thank you to the brand Moschino, established in 1983 by Franco Moschino and which owner is now the Aeffe Group, and to its great creative director Jeremy Scott, for bringing back that Barbie-like woman who find her biggest strength in her femininity!
