E come mamma? Buona giornata a tutti …

We live in a difficult world…..if it were a serious matter might seem like the beginning of the television advertising that aired years ago, which by the way was also fun.Ginevra has entered the period of the fears. Mom I’m afraid. For the dark, for an unexpected noise, for the ghosts and the Snowman.Initially I have not worried much, but now using this noun more and more often and sometimes I’m appalled because I don’t know exactly where she want to end, and above all how to calm her down and make her overcome these fears.I am the classic example scary: I’m afraid of never being at the height of things, I’m afraid to be too distracted (I’m always distractd), I’m afraid to be judged, not understood and so on. And as a mom?I only say that Ginevra is 5 years old and still sleeps with me, because I’m afraid during the night something happens.I fear that kindergarten is not secure enough, I’m afraid to get hurt, that her friends mistreat and then of the fact that if they stop us on the street and they know her name because she’s is on my social, sometimes I think: but I’m really doing the right thing? They often ask me her for fashion catalogs and it takes a lifetime to answer that most of the time is “No, thanks”.I fear above all not to be able to make her independent and autonomous.Do not touch the diseases speech because I go into crisis just thinking about it! Me and her have a special motto that we often repeat: We are strong and brave girls. But if she knew that in reality my heart trembles every time, what she would think? What you teach me mom, then if you are the first to be afraid?I try not to panic, breath and think to solve one issue at a time and not get in a hurry. What can I do, I’m not still found the perfect mother Manual, so I justify myself and tell me that I must not be perfect but a person who learns every day from small things and tries to improve with her whole being. When Ginevra tells me that she is afraid I often repeat that they must not have, but she looks at me and asks me: why should I’m not be afraid? I am breathing again and look for a simple way to explain that there is nothing to fear, for example of the dark.Maybe I turn off/on the lights showing how nothing changes and everything stays quiet with or without light. She says it’is true mom and returns to play quiet, while I look her go back and I think I actually scared shitless of the night, not to mention the thieves who continue to burgle houses in the neighborhood. But how do you today to convey serenity? I did not understand much of how can you be good parents, but surely I realized that you need a healthy ability to lie to raise a child, without depriving him of serenity.Do you think if I told her: Ginevra I am afraid of thieves! She’s not already sleep a lot, maybe would stop sleeping altogether.I realized that to be good parents also need to be good actors and not tell me that the children hear the lies and other things like that, because there is no manual!Good day everybody

Come è possibile? No. Sono spaventata perché venerdì sera in quella pizzeria, dove spesso ho pianto dalle risate, saremmo potute saltare in aria io e le mie amiche. #prayforparis

Happy Tuesday dear friends. While this is a start particular week: quieter, cooler, more sad. Friday night I was out to dinner with my friends, Ginevra home of Emma’s grandmother (my mother) and Nicola to dinner with his friends. My evening was to ‘teach eight girls who have known each other forever. A fun evening and light, in front of a pizza and a coke. It ‘s wonderful that we 8 can still see us together, and to be so united in years. Between a piece of pizza and the other we laughed a lot: about trivial things, important things, of children who do not let us sleep, to husbands who are always the same. We, as 15 years ago, when the habit was to find himself in front of a church. We, who have shared many things and have no secrets. Us, each with his work, his family and his life but which nevertheless had the courage not to lose. And it was for my work on Friday, the evening has changed its tone. A job where information is everything, live with the phone in hand and PC bag. At one point I hear my phone ringing and I read a message: “In Paris, it happened all, made to feel.” I run the company and try to figure out if someone I know I can help you out: I see images on various boards of French flags, symbolic photo, anywhere hashtag #prayforparis. Obviously I did not understand what had happened, but I realized that it was a serious matter. I last news, I looked at my friends and said: “In Paris a disaster has happened girls!”. But still we had not realized the gravity of the thing. Shortly after we got up, we paid and we returned home, each to his own life. Friday night I slept in my mother’s house; When I returned Ginevra slept next to her grandmother. I was distressed. I washed and changed in a second and I turned on the television. I was speechless. Because there were no words. What was happening was terrible. Out from the collective. Communication, my beloved profession allows me to be more connected and in touch with someone. I get emails from many quarters and is exciting to feel a bit ‘citizen of the world. But at that moment Paris was as if he were out the door of my house. I felt I was dying. Frightened. Blocked by fear. I have read and traveled enough that you need to know for some time that this is not a religious war, but a war of crazy extremists exalted and without a God. Because I am convinced that if you do not have respect for life is like to have no value. And this is the point that makes me more afraid: these extremists are not afraid to die. We have different physical characteristics, we speak a different language and we believe certainly distant, but we all live on the same planet, under the same sky. They too give birth to children and form families. No persons other than me. Yet they blow themselves up in the same collegiate way a kid throws a firecracker. BOOM! There are more and with them many other innocents. There is no logic in this. I wish I had the chance to talk with one of them, look into his eyes and ask him: “What are you doing? Tell me, what you have inside your heart. Explain why? “. Some of them had 20 years. But in 20 years how do you believe there is nothing better than to kill and commit suicide? How is that possible? For what? In the name of Allah? Really the Koran speaks so? It may have existed a prophet who proclaimed the death instead of life and love? No. I am scared because on Friday evening in the pizzeria, where I often cried with laughter, we’d been able to blow me and my friends. I’m scared for my daughter who lives on a planet where there are fools who believe in freedom to die is the right way for an eternity better, who believe that since my daughter has her face covered by both punish and kill. I can not believe it. All this is not possible. It’s not right. Friday night I did not sleep, did not succeeded. I want some answers, and I want to pretend that all those people that is part of this organization called ISIS cursed be stopped. I want my freedom as a human being, as a citizen of a world that belongs to me in every corner and especially as a mother I want freedom! #prayforparis
