Good morning, today and tomorrow I will be talking about my Fashion Week: first of all, I have fallen in love with Chanel which I will keep in my heart forever, then there is Roberto Cavalli, these are the brands I use the most, I have always been using them for my and my daughter’s outfits. But today I want to talk about Moschino! Oh là là!! When I was younger I would always see my sister, who is 9 years older than me, wearing Moschino clothes. It is definitely a particular brand: extremely fashionable and always ahead of the times, just like my sister Lara is. And also this year Moschino was able to make my heart pound by presenting on the haute couture’s runways a woman who finally wants to get her femininity back! Moschino brought back the Barbie Girl, not as a “plastic doll”, but as a role model of elegance and femininity, and for someone like myself, who used to have a collection of at least 100 Mattel Barbie dolls, you can imagine how that makes me feel! Let me tell you something that happened a few years ago: I have 3 nieces (soon to be 4, but that’s another story). Their names are Fabiola, Alice and Giorgia and they are respectively 18, 17 and 14. About ten years ago I took them to a toy store so that each one of them could pick a doll. Of course I tried to direct them to the Barbie section and we to pick out with them the best Barbie dolls, but none of them was paying attention to me and they were actually looking for something else. They were looking for some doll called Bratz, which I had never heard of before. So we started looking for this Bratz doll and once we had found the dedicated section, oh I wish someone had filmed my face, I just couldn’t believe it! I spent my entire childhood playing with my beloved Barbie dolls, brushing their hair and dressing them like beautiful princesses and my little nieces were asking for dolls that looked just like, I can’t even say it! With super short miniskirts and extremely heavy makeup: they were nowhere near my conception of doll. So, after a long negotiation, I had to buy them those Bratz dolls…I wasn’t happy at all about my purchase! That’s why I would like to say thank you to the brand Moschino, established in 1983 by Franco Moschino and which owner is now the Aeffe Group, and to its great creative director Jeremy Scott, for bringing back that Barbie-like woman who find her biggest strength in her femininity! Ciao a tutti!  Questa mattina mi sono svegliata con un cerchio alla testa tanto che mi sembra di essere uno di quei vecchi cartoni animati che vedevo quando era bambina. Avete presente Titti e Silvestro? Quando Titti gli tirava una bastonata in testa e si vedeva Silvestro con le stelline sul capo che giravano intorno? Ecco,l’immagine rende bene l’idea. (A proposito, ho letto di recente che Titti era un maschio, ma rimango dell’ idea fosse femmina), ne sapevate qualcosa? Va beh,pensiero a parte , il resto è per dirvi che nelle mattine come queste, mi tocca truccarmi perché altrimenti sembro uno zombie! L’ho detto spesso e qui lo ribadisco: non amo molto truccarmi e di conseguenza il mio trucco migliore è quello che va di moda ora, ossia “il nude”.  Se fossimo negli anni 70 non sarei fortunata, nel senso che con tutti quegli ombretti coloratissimi che andavano tanto di moda e che, con tutta sincerità, mi piacciono tantissimo, non ci sarei andata a nozze. Il trucco “nudo” sembra fatto appositamente per me! Vanity Fair l’ha definito “impercettibile, delicato e quasi impalpabile, simbolo di una bellezza raffinata che non ha bisogno di ostentare” , eccola qui!  Mi ci ritrovo e siccome mi chiedete spesso come mi trucco e che prodotti utilizzo, ora ve lo racconto. Consigli non ve ne do perché ognuno deve trovare la propria strada, però vi dico cosa uso io.  Prima cosa: mi spalmo una crema nutritiva per la precisione la  Hydramax+ Active di Chanel , poi nel mercato comunque ne esistono di ogni tipo. Successivamente mi metto il fondotinta che deve essere assolutamente in linea con il colore della propria pelle. Avete presente quelle che vanno in giro con la riga a bordo viso?? Nooooo!! Non ci siamo, il fondotinta deve essere una crema che opacizza il viso e lo rende luminoso, non deve essere usato come autoabbronzante . La marca di riferimento per me è sempre Chanel.  Poi vado di  correttore che spalmo bene, seguendo il punto T del volto. Per punto T s’intende: orizzontalmente la fronte e verticalmente il naso fino al mento,  poi sotto gli occhi (perché ho le occhiaie da quando facevo la quinta elementre !). Successivamente illumino usando dei correttori colorati in crema he possono essere, nel mio caso, rosa o gialli, quelli della Mac sono fantastici. Ne spalmo sugli zigomi e sulle palpebre, dopo di che via di terra e anche questa deve avere un colore idoneo alla propria pelle: la numero uno  per me è quella di Estee Lauder. Sopracciglia: io non amo i tatuaggi, anche se per me sarebbe stata la soluzione migliore, perché le ho chiare e fini. Comunque con una matita le rimarco in modo naturale e a volte giocando con la forma. Cosa manca ancora? Il rimmel che uso è nero per dare tono allo sguardo e che mi aiuti a rendere le ciglia più lunghe e folte e quello della L’Oréal è perfetto . Per finire un gloss trasparente che mi renda la labbra luminose e morbide: Dior mi da molte soddisfazioni a riguardo. Il tutto è molto più complicato da raccontare che da mettere in pratica, infatti io ci perdo 10 minuti al massimo! Buon martedì sera….

Hello everyone! This morning I woke up with such a headache that it felt like I was in one of those cartoons I used to watch when I was little. Do you know Tweety and Sylvester? When Tweety would hit Sylvester in the head with a bat and he would start seeing stars spinning around his head? That’s exactly how I felt. Speaking of that, I have recently read that Tweety was a boy, but I’m still convinced of the opposite, did you know about it? Oh well. Besides that, all of this was to tell you that in mornings like this I need to wear makeup, otherwise I would look like a zombie! I’ve said it a few times and I reaffirm that I don’t really like doing my makeup, and in light of that my best makeup is the one that’s very popular right now, the “nude look”. If we were in the 70’s I wouldn’t have this luck, as I wouldn’t have gotten along with all those super bright a colorful eyeshadows, which anyway I really do like a lot. The “nude look” makeup seems to be made for me! Vanity Fair has described it as “imperceptible, delicate and almost intangible, it represents an elegant beauty that doesn’t need to be shown off”, here it is! I find myself in this description and since you often ask me how I do my makeup and what products I use, I’m about to tell you. I don’t want to give you suggestions because everyone needs to find their own method, but I will tell you what I do. First of all: I apply some nourishing lotion, specifically the Hydramax + Active by Chanel, but you can find all sorts of different types on the market. Then I apply foundation, which absolutely needs to be suitable for my skin tone. Have you ever seen those girls who go around with a darker line above their neck?? NOOO!! That’s not how foundation should be used, it is supposed to mattify and lighten your skin, not to serve the purpose of a self-tanning lotion. My reference brand is always Chanel. Then I thoroughly rub in the concealer, following the T zone, which includes forehead (side to side), nose (whole vertical length) and chin, and then underneath my eyes (as I have bags since fifth grade!).Afterwards I highlight my face by using colored cream concealers that could be, in my case, either pink or yellow, the Mac ones are great. I rub them on my cheekbones and on my eyelids, and after that I apply the bronzer which, just like foundation, also needs to be a suitable color: the number one for me is the Estée Lauder’s. Eyebrows: I don’t love tattoos but for me it would have been the best solution as mine are very light and thin. However I naturally accentuate them with a pencil and sometimes I play with their shape. What’s left? I use black mascara to emphasize my eyes and make my lashes look longer and thicker, the L’Oréal one is perfect. Last but not least, I apply a clear gloss to make my lips shinier and softer:Dior helps a lot. It is all way harder to tell than it actually is to be put into practice, indeed it only takes me 10 minutes, at the longest! Have a good night…

Happy Friday everyone! What are your plans for the weekend? I’m still not sure, but on Sunday I will certainly attend the opening of Emili, the new store that opened downtown in my beautiful Vicenza. Today I would like to tell you about how big my Tapu is getting, little Ginevra. She’s almost two years old, I don’t know if your children were already talking at that age, but my daughter makes me laugh so hard! She surprises me every day, she remembers everything I tell her and she pays attention to everything! I should actually thank her for teaching me to give the right importance to all the things that I surround me. The word of the month is “here it is!”. Let tell you about something too funny.The other day I was in the bathroom trying to wash my face, rub some cream and other things … she was, as always, around me going back and forth with her games. All of a sudden she yells: “Here it is mom, ohohoho, here it is!”. I look at her without really understanding what’s going on and just go ahead with what I was doing, when she goes again: “Mom here it is, here it is, here it is, oooooh! Here it is mom!!!!”. I see she’s looking at the little rug in our bathroom with a hand in front of her mouth, as to show how surprised she was. But I still don’t understand since I don’t see anything, and I keep rubbing my cream.“Mom, here it is, again, again, again!” and she bursts into laughter. So, curiously, I get closer to the rug located next to the French window. I kneel down and try to see what she is looking at. What do you think my daughter was looking at?I pick up the rug, Ginevra sees what’s underneath and goes: “Ohhohohoho”. I’m about to cry, there’s ants everywhere! She is amused and laughs, I am in despair because the ants, super organized little animals, already made their way to the kitchen…This was my “Hello” to spring!! I wish you a nice weekend!!!

Eccoci qui! Buongiorno People Love! Un’altra mattinata di pioggia … cerchiamo di non pensarci!Jovanotti canterebbe: “E pioverà fino a che la terra non sarà di nuovo piena e poi si rasserena … Piove senti come piove..”  Quest’oggi vi volevo raccontare un aneddoto della mia vita, un ricordo bellissimo, uno di quelli che mettono di buon umore anche quando, come oggi, piove … Da allora sono passati 15 anni. Caspita! Se ci penso è tantissimo tempo!  Io avevo uhm …  diciamo soltanto che ero giovane giovane … da mesi e mesi e tantissimi mesi prima, non facevo altro che sognare la borsa ad occhi aperti. Sì! Quella borsa! Quella per eccellenza: la Chanel! Di carattere non sono mai stata nè una bimba (nè in seguito una persona adulta) che chiedeva le cose; no, non lo sono mai stata e non lo sarò mai, ma dopo mesi che i tuoi genitori ti sentono ripetere: “ Come la vorrei, mi piacerebbe tanto, sarebbe bellissimo averla, la tratterei come la cosa più preziosa al mondo!”  E te lo sentono dire ad alta voce, addirittura mentre parli da sola, fino allo sfinimento … capire che il mio sogno era avere quella borsa Chanel era  piuttosto ovvio! Mio padre fatalità (la fortuna mi è venuta in contro)  è dovuto partire per lavoro proprio per Parigi e quando  ci ha chiamato per avvertirci che era arrivato mia madre me l’ha passato e il mio saluto è stato: “Papà vai a vedere il negozio di Chanel, così mi racconti com’è la borsa dal vivo!”. Mio padre non aveva mangiato solo la foglia, ma anche tutto l’albero … Il fatto è che due giorni più tardi (dopo il mio lavaggio subliminale del cervello, nemmeno tanto subliminale poi!!!)  è tornato con un pacchetto tutto per me e dentro  cosa ci sarà mai stato? Ebbene sì, proprio lei, bella ed elegante, molto di più di come avrei potuto sognare!  Non riesco nemmeno a raccontarvi la mia gioia! La mia borsa,oggi, ha 15 anni ed è diventato ormai un pezzo vintage! Mi hanno chiesto spesso se la mettevo in vendita, ma non ci penso nemmeno! Lei è un pezzo della mia vita, della mia storia.  Mio padre è mancato 5 anni fa e tutti i suoi regali non hanno prezzo, figuriamoci una borsa come questa! Per le amanti delle grandi firme e del vintage posso consigliare un sito strepitoso, creato come una vera e propria boutique. E’ nato in Italia “finalmente” il primo e-commerce, dove puoi comprare pezzi di lusso ad un ottimo prezzo! E la cosa meravigliosa è che puoi anche vendere i tuoi , se non li usi più!
