Buongiorno a tutti! in questi giorni sto programmando un po’ di cose da fare e da scrivere, nel frattempo vi racconto la nostra vacanza in Sardegna. In molti mi avete chiesto dove mi trovavo quando postavo le foto in Facebook o Instagram, ma per la privacy della mia famiglia e degli amici con cui eravamo in vacanza,  non vi ho mai svelato nulla. Oggi posso raccontarvelo tranquillamente. Eravamo a Calasetta, nell’isola di S. Antioco, a sud ovest della Sardegna, in un posto incantato. Ci rechiamo in Sardegna  almeno una volta all’ anno, ma qui non c’eravamo mai stati. Nonostante non si possa negare la bellezza della Costa Smeralda, devo dirvi che il Sud mi ha colpito molto. I luoghi erano talmente belli da ricordare i Caraibi. Ho visto decine di spiagge diverse, di una bellezza mozzafiato. Le vacanze oggi le scegliamo su misura di Ginevra e la Sardegna rispecchia perfettamente la sua vacanza ideale. La mia bambina ha potuto sguazzare ore nel mare limpidissimo e anche se ci spostavamo più a largo, l’acqua rimaneva bassa per un bel po’. Ha passato ore a costruire castelli di sabbia bianchissima  e a godere dei profumi e colori del posto. Al Sud i prezzi sono ottimi: alla sera abbiamo cenato in buonissimi ristoranti di pesce. La zona è famosa per il tonno. La Tonnara dell’ isola, situata di fronte a S.Pietro, dove si trovava il nostro appartamento,  esporta tonno in tutto il mondo. Quando abbiamo cenato a casa abbiamo fatto incetta di frutta e verdura a prezzi super convenienti! Oltre a trascorrere le giornate in spiaggia, di cui vi parlerò a breve, abbiamo visitato quanto la zona offriva. A Carbonia non ci siamo lasciati scappare  ovviamente il museo del carbone e le sue miniere sotterranee dove, negli anni 50, lavoravano quasi 8 mila persone in condizioni pessime:  solo per  prendersi le lanterne e recarsi a lavorare sotto, i minatori dovevano fare ogni mattina 2 ore di fila. Ci pensate ? Lavoravano 15 ore al giorno sotto terra , respiravano aria malsana e 2 ore della loro giornata la spendevano  nell’attesa di una lanterna. Oggi sono chiuse perché illegali, ma sappiamo che le miniere nel mondo non sono sparite: ci sono ancora molte persone a lavorare in condizioni a dir poco pietose.Per tornar al discorso spiagge, la migliore in assoluto credo sia la spiaggia di Porto Pino (proprio in quel periodo c’era in vacanza Giorgio Armani, mica ha scelto male lui!) ! Mare azzurro, spiaggia bianchissima,  ampia e pulita,  dune… un vero incanto. Ma volete proprio sapere cosa più mi è piaciuto davvero tanto di questo soggiorno ? La notte. Si, alla sera, quando calava l’oscurità e le pochissime luci di S.Antioco si spegnevano, noi potevamo accomodarci in giardino e guardare le stelle  e la via Lattea. Ginevra ed io abbiamo visto tantissime stelle cadenti. Sapete, Ginevra dice di avere una stella tutta sua che chiama “Brilla, brilla”. In realtà non è una stella, ma è il pianeta Venere che a lei piace chiamare così . E’ talmente luminoso che è impossibile non notarlo e Ginny dice che è tutta suo! Ciò mi riporta ad uno dei ricordi più belli che ho di mio padre, quando trascorrevamo le notti d’estate con il naso all’insù ad ammirare il cielo. Goodmorning everyone! these days I’m planning a bit ‘of things to do and write, in the meantime I will tell you our holiday in Sardinia. Many have asked me where I was when I was posting photos on Facebook or Instagram, but for the privacy of my family and friends with whom we were on vacation, I never revealed anything. Today I can tell you about it quietly. We were in Calasetta, in the island of S. Antioco, south west Sardinia, in an enchanted place. We go to Sardinia at least once a ‘year, but we had never been here. Although one can not deny the beauty of the Emerald Coast, I have to tell you that the South had a blast. The places were so beautiful to remember the Caribbean. I saw dozens of different beaches, breathtakingly beautiful. The holidays today we choose tailored Geneva and Sardinia perfectly reflects his ideal holiday. My little girl was able to wallow hours in the clear sea and although we moved further out, the water remained low for a while ‘. He spent hours building sand castles white and enjoy the scents and colors of the place. In the South the prices are great: the night we dined in delicious seafood restaurants. The area is famous for tuna. The Tonnara of ‘island, situated in front of St. Peter, where he was our apartment, tuna exports worldwide. When we had dinner at home we did stock up on fruit and vegetables at very affordable prices! Besides spending days on the beach, which we will discuss shortly, we visited as the area offered. In Carbonia we did not miss of course the Museum of coal and its underground mines where, in 50 years, almost 8,000 people were working in very bad conditions, only to take the lantern and go to work in, the miners had to do every morning 2 hours straight. You think about it? They worked 15 hours a day under the ground, breathing unhealthy air and the two hours of their day spent waiting for a lantern. Are closed today because illegal, but we know that the mines in the world have not disappeared: there are still many people to work in conditions nothing short of pitiful.
! To return to the speech beaches, the absolute best I believe is the beach of Porto Pino (at that time was on vacation Giorgio Armani, mica chose him bad!)! Blue sea, white sand, wide and clean, dunes … an absolute delight. But you really want to know what more I really enjoyed this stay? The night. Yes, in the evening, when darkness fell and the few lights S.Antioco went out, we could get comfortable in the garden and watch the stars and the Milky Way. Geneva and I have seen many shooting stars. You know, Geneva say they have a star of her own calling “Twinkle, Twinkle”. It really is not a star, but it is the planet Venus that she likes to call it. It ‘so bright that it is impossible to miss and Ginny says it’s all his! This brings me to one of the best memories I have of my father, when we spent the summer nights with the nose to watch the sky. I hope that you are passionate about Geneva … good time … I embrace.
