My book: Un passo indietro

Buon sabato! Che ne dite? E’ stata una bella settimana? Per me sì, molto veloce come tutte!!! Oggi vorrei raccontarvi  del mio libro” Un passo indietro”. A maggio, dall’ 8 al 12 ci sarà il Salone internazionale del libro a Torino dove sarò presente per delle interviste(anche se non amo molto essere intervistata , preferisco mille volte farle!). Ma stavolta non ci scappo. Stavo riflettendo sulla trama del mio libro e sulle varie recensioni ricevute: moltissime persone mi hanno scritto che è piaciuto, che sono stata brava, che è un bel libro scorrevole. Ma ho letto anche commenti del tipo “A me non è piaciuto”, “Non è malvagio”,  “Tu puoi scrivere di meglio”. Insomma, come ogni opera che si rispetti può piacere o meno, io ne vado comunque fiera. Il mio libro racconta di una giovane donna nata in una  ricca famiglia borghese che si innamora del ragazzo sbagliato: sbagliato proprio perché non proviene  dal suo stesso mondo borghese. Si tratta di Elisabetta Primo che per questo motivo viene addirittura  snobbata dai ragazzi del suo gruppo con i quali era cresciuta. A tal proposito ho letto un commento in cui la mia protagonista veniva descritta negativamente come ingenua,ma  penso invece che Elisabetta  sia tutt’altro che ingenua, anzi, è molto  furba e a volte addirittura un po’ stronza. E’ una ragazza dai valori profondi, forse troppo giovane per essere così matura e troppo combattiva per una madre che la desidera soltanto a sua immagine e somiglianza, senza mai averla guardata negli occhi per capire realmente chi fosse. E’ una ragazza intelligente, che non ha paura di andare alla ricerca della verità, anche a costo di andare contro tutti e tutto. Alla fine riceverà delle belle soddisfazioni … sta a voi scoprire quali. Vi abbraccio … buon week-end.

I would like to tell you about my book “A step back”.From May 8th to the 12th, the Salone internazionale del libro will take place in Turin, where I will be available for interviews (even if I don’t really like it, I certainly prefer to interview, rather than being interviewed!).But this time I can’t escape. I was thinking about my book’s plot and the several reviews I received: a lot of people said they liked it, that I did a good job and that the book is nice and fluent. But I’ve also read comments such as: “I didn’t like it”, “it wasn’t too bad”, “you can do better”.Well, just like all the works, it can be liked or not, but no matter what, I still am proud of it. My book tells the story of a young woman from a rich family of the middle class, who falls in love with the wrong man: wrong because he doesn’t come from her same rich world.The girl is Elisabetta Primo, who for that reason gets also left out by the boys and girls she grew up with. in reference to this, I read a comment in which my main character was negatively described as naïve, but actually I think Elisabetta is not nearly naïve, she is very smart instead, and sometimes even a little bitchy.She has deep values, maybe she is too young to be so mature and fights too much for a mother who only wanted her to follow her steps, without ever looking her in the eyes to understand who she really was.Elisabetta is a smart girl, not afraid of looking for the truth, even if that means going against everything and everyone. In the end she will get some good satisfactions…that are up to you to find out.A big hug…have a nice weekend.
