L’estate sta finendo e un anno se ne va…. sto diventando grande, lo sai che non mi va!” Cantavano proprio così i Righeira nell’ormai lontanissimo 1985. Non so a voi, ma a me gli anni Ottanta sembrano secoli fa! Ma puntualmente a settembre, ad ogni italiano di tutto rispetto, viene in mente questa canzone e ho notato che non esiste età…. persino i ragazzini di oggi conoscono questo pezzo! Purtroppo, siamo già arrivati alla fine di questa estate, un’estate caldissima, dicono la più calda dal 2003 (altro anno che mi sembra lontanissimo!). Voi cosa avete fatto di bello? Dove siete stati? Io sono andata un po’ al mare e poi per finire in bellezza, sono stata in montagna e per quanto io ami il mare, quest’anno ho adorato in modo particolare la montagna. Siamo stati sulle Dolomiti, nella nostra amatissima Alta Badia e come lo scorso anno, abbiamo scelto l’Hotel La Majun, per avere la sicurezza di essere coccolati con un’ospitalità incredibile, di mangiare e bere benissimo e di sentirci a casa. Ormai per me scegliere di andare da Roberta e Natalie, madre e figlia, nonché titolari dell’Hotel è abbastanza naturale, sapete come si dice, no? Squadra che vince non si cambia (altro pensiero tipico da italiano super tifoso di calcio!). Ecco per noi è la stessa identica cosa. Quest’estate con grande sorpresa abbiamo trovato un Hotel quasi totalmente rinnovato; infatti sono stati fatti dei lavori di restaurazione e in tempi da record! In poco più di tre mesi hanno ristrutturato l’esterno e hanno aggiunto un piano con 8 suite, tutte fantastiche! Non potevo credere che in così poco tempo, potessero creare un albergo praticamente nuovo; ma in Alta Badia questo e molto altro, è possibile. Le camere nuove sono a dir poco stupende, curiosa come sono le ho volute vedere tutte e ho potuto costatare che ognuna ha una vista incredibile, sono tutte ampie e con un design da lasciare senza fiato. Come sempre abbiamo mangiato benissimo e grazie alla cantina di Carlo, il papà di Natalie, abbiamo bevuto dell’ottimo vino. Io mi sono rilassata nella loro SPA, Nicola e Ginevra hanno giocato e nuotato nella loro piscina e la sera dopo cena, ci siamo divertiti a giocare tutti e tre a qualche gioco in scatola. Amo questo tipo di vacanza che mi ricorda molto quando ero bambina e oggi, come allora, di giorno camminavamo molto e la sera ci rilassavamo in albergo! Credo che l’Alta Badia in estate sia un’ottima scelta, ma credetemi che oltre al famoso periodo invernale, anche l’autunno è una stagione meravigliosa per salire in alta quota e perdersi in quelle montagne e in quei colori, che sono state proclamate tra le più belle del mondo.

I don’t know about you, but to me the eighties seem centuries ago! But punctually in September, to every respectable Italian, this song comes to mind and I noticed that there is no age … even today’s kids know this song! Unfortunately, we have already arrived at the end of this summer, a very hot summer, they say the hottest since 2003 (another year that seems very far away!). What did you do? Where have you been? I went to the sea and then to finish in style, I was in the mountains and as much as I love the sea, this year I particularly loved the mountain. We have been in the Dolomites, in our beloved Alta Badia and like last year, we have chosen the Hotel La Majun, to have the security of being pampered with incredible hospitality, of eating and drinking very well and of feeling at home. Now for me choose to go to Roberta and Natalie, mother and daughter and owners of the Hotel is quite natural, you know how to say it, right? The winning team doesn’t change (another typical thought of an Italian super soccer fan!). For us is the exact same thing. This summer, to our great surprise, we found a Hotel almost totally renovated; in fact, restoration works have been done and in record time! In just over three months they renovated the exterior and added a floor with 8 suites, all fantastic! I could not believe that in such a short time, they could create a practically new hotel; but in Alta Badia this and much more is possible. The new rooms are nothing short of amazing, curious as they are, I wanted to see them all and I could see that each has an incredible view, they are all large and with a breathtaking design. As always, we ate very well and thanks to the cellar of Carlo, Natalie’s father, we drank some excellent wine. I relaxed in their SPA, Nicola and Ginevra played and swam in their pool and in the evening after dinner, we had fun playing all three of them in some boxed game. I love this kind of vacation that reminds me a lot when I was a child and today, like then, we walked a lot during the day and in the evening, we relaxed in the hotel! I believe that Alta Badia in summer is a great choice, but believe me that in addition to the famous winter period, autumn is also a wonderful season to climb high and get lost in those mountains and in those colors, which have been proclaimed among the most beautiful in the world.
